Happy Monday! It's time for the Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge! Since Mary Jo will be on vacation this week, this week's challenge will be open for 2 weeks. That should give you plenty of time to create and share a project - even multiple projects if you are so inclined! There will also be some blog candy available - read on for more details...
Here is this week's project using the above sketch:
Do you notice anything new? I embossed with the new Stylish Stripes Embossing Folder found in the new 2013 Holiday Catalog. I love it and am happy that it can be used for that special holiday style but also perfect for an everyday style!
Stylish Stripes Embossing Folder |
I saw the colors from this week's ColourQ Challenge #200 and knew it was time to make a masculine card
since I don't make enough to keep on hand and then have to rush when I
need something! This sketch and card is perfect to make a card with no
sentiment and then add the perfect sentiment as needed.
I started with a base of Marina Mist and stamped my image panel with Marina Mist, So Saffron, Old Olive, and Midnight Muse using the Lacy & Lovely stamp set. Then I embossed the image panel with the Stylish Stripes TIEF and layered the image panel with So Saffron card stock. I stamped my sentiment with Midnight Muse. This really is such a quick and easy card to reproduce in any color combination!
