Masculine Card - TSSC275 Sketch Challenge and blog candy!

Happy Monday! It's time for the Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge! Since Mary Jo will be on vacation this week, this week's challenge will be open for 2 weeks. That should give you plenty of time to create and share a project - even multiple projects if you are so inclined! There will also be some blog candy available - read on for more details...

Here is this week's project using the above sketch:

Do you notice anything new? I embossed with the new Stylish Stripes Embossing Folder found in the new 2013 Holiday Catalog. I love it and am happy that it can be used for that special holiday style but also perfect for an everyday style!

Stylish Stripes Embossing Folder

I saw the colors from this week's ColourQ Challenge #200 and knew it was time to make a masculine card since I don't make enough to keep on hand and then have to rush when I need something! This sketch and card is perfect to make a card with no sentiment and then add the perfect sentiment as needed.

I started with a base of Marina Mist and stamped my image panel with Marina Mist, So Saffron, Old Olive, and Midnight Muse using the Lacy & Lovely stamp set. Then I embossed the image panel with the Stylish Stripes TIEF and layered the image panel with So Saffron card stock. I stamped my sentiment with Midnight Muse. This really is such a quick and easy card to reproduce in any color combination!

I can't wait to see what you create over the next 2 weeks! Head over to Mary Jo's blog listed below and enter your project using the sketch. Don't forget to check out all the other wonderful projects created by the design team this week!

Mary Jo Price-Williams - Technostamper
Nicole Tegrul - Be Creative with Nicole
Robbie Rubula - Inked X2
Tanya Bell - Stamping T!

Unfortunately, I was unable to submit my project before Mary Jo left so my project will only be visible on the link-up tool. I hope you can add your project alongside mine! Don't forget that there is blog candy being offered by Mary Jo! Leave a comment (even if you don't post a project) on Mary Jo's blog and she will pick a random person as the blog candy winner!
