First of all I apologize for the quality of this picture. My real camera died so I used my cell phone. It's not bad except for the overall grid image on the entire picture. I created this card for my mom for her birthday. This is probably the first time that I've been able to create and complete her card BEFORE her birthday. This card is on my Stampin' Up website as one of my favorite project ideas. What a great way to showcase the 2011-13 in-colors and the new ruffled ribbon. When I first saw this card I ordered everything I didn't have to complete this, and then ended up changing my mind on the stamped sentiment. Instead of using the Friendly Phrases stamp set (which was already on my wish list) I substituted the Happiest Birthday Wishes hostess stamp for the stamped sentiment.
I wasn't sure I would like the Good Grids stamp set but liked the effect it had on the bottom flower layer and I like how it works with the in-color designer printed brads. I LOVE this stamp and will be using it more often now as well! Of course I am a very symmetrical person so it really shouldn't be any big shocker that I would like this stamp.
Shown below are the images of the stamps that come in the Happiest Birthday Wishes which comes in wood and clear mount. The Good Grids stamp is a one-piece stamp that comes only in wood-mount. I also included the images of the Friendly Phrases stamp set which also comes in clear or wood mount.
I can't wait to see you at my craft table to share this and all the other fun projects we can do!
