I will be in and out this next week so I have a series of cards I received from a monthly swap I participate in that I would like to share with you. This first card was created by Kathy White. Our very kind swap host has taken pictures of all the cards for our group and put them on the web so all swap participants can see the cards. How fun!
This is a great masculine birthday card. I think almost everyone can agree that a card for a man is hard to create! We have so many bright and bold colors and flower printed Designer Series Paper that we sometimes forget how to make the masculine cards. The use of neutral colors works great or you could even use their favorite color like red, or blue, or green with some neutral colors as well. I see a lot of people use "machinery" on their cards to make them have a more masculine feel - cars, planes, tractors, boats, etc... - and it works! Another great thing is texture like the embossing done on this card.
