This card was designed by my upline, Rene Watson, for the shoe box swap earlier this month. She almost felt like she was cheating using this card - why? This card is part of a kit so everything is pre-printed, die-cut, and pre-pierced and is already color coordinated for you! Now - you too - can cross-stitch!! Look at everything you get with the kit:
- 8 printed cards (4 each of 2 colors) - scored
- 8 white envelopes
- 8 die-cut pattern pieces (needle holes pre-pierced)
- Embroidery Floss in 2 colors (Lucky Limeade and Primrose Petals)
- 2 embroidery needles
- 32 Stampin' Dimensionals
All that for only $12.95! The quantity of floss included is actually enough to stitch with 6 strands at one time - but you can also use less if you prefer. I used 6 strands in my sample but if you used 3 it would have a slightly "thinner" look. Some people said that it was easier to thread 3 strands of floss than 6 - so keep that in mind when you use this kit.
The coordinating Sweet Essentials stamp set is not included in this kit so that you can use any stamp you want - however it can be purchased separately for $6.95. OR -
Stampin' Up! has created yet another GREAT bundle! You can purchase the Sweat Threads Bundle which includes the Simply Sent kit AND the coordinating Essentials stamp set for $16.95 - if purchased separately they would be $19.90 - that's a savings of almost 15%!
I'm so glad that Rene chose to use this stamp set. Really it's a great value for the kit but is easy to step it up with your favorite ribbon or paper scraps in your stash!
