TSSC271 - Papillon Potpourri

Happy Monday! Welcome to another week of the Technostamper Sketch Challenge! Check out sketch #271:

Here is the card I made!

I received a card in the mail from a lifelong friend. We have always been very close but lately life has taken over and made it not as easy to keep in touch. I wanted to send her a card to let her know I'm thinking of her and miss her as much as she missed me!

Here are the details of the card:

• I started out with a base of Calypso Coral followed by a layer of Basic Gray with DSP from the I Am Me Designer Series Paper pack. I used a scallop edge border punch on the right side. 
• I stamped the greeting from Lacy & Lovely in Basic Gray onto Whisper White card stock
• I punched out 3 squares of Whisper White card stock with a 1" Square Punch and matted it with Island Indigo postage stamps using my Postage Stamp Punch.
• I stamped 3 butteflies from Papillion Potpourri with Island Indigo ink onto Pool Party card stock. Then I folded them in half and put a little Tombow Monoadhesive Glue on the crease and glued the butterflies onto the squares making sure that the wings would stick up a little bit to have that 3D effect.
