Carolyn's Paper Fantasies: Ruffled Thanks Card

Here is a sample from my online gallery. The stamp set Kindness Matters and the Designer Frames embossing folder set can both be yours for FREE with every $50 order you place during Sale-A-Bration. I think the colors in this card are gorgeous but you could use any color scheme here. Not sure what to use? Try the Color Coach! Many times I will start with my Designer Series Paper and pull colors from that, but when I use only card stock and stamps as in the sample above it's hard to know which colors work together.

The Color Coach is like a book of paint swatches for your Stampin' Up! colors. If you know at least one color you have or want to use you can find that swatch. When you flip it over it will have at least 2 color combinations - a Creative Combination and either a Sweet Set or a Getting Started Combination. Sometimes there is even a Dynamic Duo listed which shows a monochromatic color scheme such as Rose Red and Regal Rose or Elegant Eggplant and Wisteria Wonder.

The Creative Combinations are a balanced combination containing a POWER PAIR and a third color. The Sweet Set is a combination using selections from the other core colors and the Getting Started Combination uses only colors from the Getting Started Collection - making it even easier for the beginner papercrafter! Of course the combinations are endless but the Color Coach will get going in the right direction.

I am rarely comfortable making color combinations that I can't get from my DSP but I know that with my Color Coach I can't go wrong. I've also used my color coach to identify colors of card stock that were misplaced and not placed with the card stock of the same color.
