This will be my last Valentine post of the season so I should be mostly caught up now! This coupon book was the perfect gift for my significant other. Even though this has a Valentine Day theme - it could easily be converted to a coupon book for birthdays or anniversaries. This was an idea shared on the Create With Connie and Mary Occasions Edition 2012. You can pay a fee to have access to exclusive tutorials for some very awesome projects every day for 6 weeks. They do however offer a few free access tutorials to give you a taste of the subscription tutorials are all about.
This picture shows you what the inside looks like. There are 10 pouches with a coupon in each pouch. My sample is very much like the instructions provided but I did change a couple of the papers around but I HAD to use the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper from the Sale-a-bration Catalog! After all, it's FREE with a $50 purchase!
Here is a sample of one of the coupons. In the tutorial there is a sheet to print out of several coupons. I printed them all and then picked which ones I wanted to use. My man is not a sports fan so it was easy to throw those out! The coupons had to be adjusted while cutting to get the print to be near the center of the card. I cut 1/2" from each edge of the column of coupons before cutting them to the length of the coupon, and sometimes I had to adjust within that column of coupons. I don't know if my printer was not reading the format the same as the creator intended or what but it did work out - and remember - home made projects should not be PERFECT!
