HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAROL!!!
Actually yesterday was Carol's birthday but I didn't mail this till Monday....I'm hoping she gets it before she sees this on my website. Carol LOVES her chocolate so I thought I would give her 3 chocolate cupcakes (albeit paper cupcakes) for her birthday. This stamp set also has a set of 3 bon bons but to be honest I thought they were muffins at first - so she got the cupcakes! This is another fancy fold card that I have been wanting to try. At first glance this looks like any standard square card - right? This is actually a twisted easel card.
This is what the card look like when it's open. It has a diagonal fold on the front and only the bottom and left side of the card are attached to folded part of the card. I probably should have turned the sentiment facing the card instead of the position I had placed it in. This was my first card so I will learn after practice but I'm sure Carol will still enjoy it.

I knew when I saw this stamp set I HAD to have it. The first thing I envisioned was using my red Dazzling Details glitter glue as part of the cupcake decoration. That's exactly what I did today! I also used the irridescent/white Dazzling Details on the cupcake stand but it didn't have the effect I was going for. I think my old standby of Dazzling Diamonds will do the trick next time! I don't think you can see in the picture but I also used Crystal Effects on the cherries to give them that "wet" look. I also used my new favorite but now retired DSP - Big Top Birthday. How can you not have sweets on a birthday card????
