On Saturday the Got Stamps Ink Team met at Rene Watson's home for our quarterly team meeting. At these meetings Rene gives out awards for top achievements in our group, provides make & takes, and shares lots of projects for inspiration! We were able to catch up with those we haven't seen in a while and meet new people that have joined the Stampin Up family. We also had fun swapping cards or other projects and we all pitch in to share some food. This time we had an ice cream sundae social! YUM!!
This is one of the make and takes that Rene created for us! Isn't it adorable? We used my absolute favorite Howlstooth &Scaringbone DSP and the Ghoulish Googlies Designer Kit. I love seeing new ideas!
And look - it SLIDES OPEN!!! Out of the top comes the candy bar and there is a cute message on the bottom that also slides out. HOW ADORABLE! I can't wait to make more of these!
We also created this gift bag tag using the Two Tags big shot die and Friendship Preserves stamp set and matching framelits. We even brayered the tissue paper to match!!
Here is a close-up of the tag. We also used the coloring tool to spritz color on the tag. I have only used that tool twice - and each time at Rene's - but it creates such a neat effect on projects!
This is the gift that she made for all of us! It is a box made with the Oval Accents Clear Bigz die and is filled with a cello bag of Hershey's Kisses.
I will share the swaps with you very soon!
