Stampin Up - Truly Family!

Last weekend I got a random email from a top achieving demonstrator, Patty Bennett. She has been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator for 18 years and has accomplished and earned many many things over the years. During one of her most recent trips earned to Walt Disney World she received a bag from Stampin' Up! Now, many of you may not know, but at each Stampin Up event you receive a bag - some are very casual and others are very luxurious - depending on the event and purpose of receiving the bag.

This particular bag was a pillow gift - a gift that Stampin Up puts in every one's room while they are out at dinner or an outing. Everyone runs back to their rooms to see what the pillow gifts are each evening! Patty asked if I would like to have this bag! She commented that she was hoping to find someone that would enjoy this bag and given that the bag was embroidered with her last name (aka my last name) she didn't run into many people that she could share this with.

Isn't it cute! It's actually a pretty good size. The bottom yellow part is insulated so it' perfect for your water bottles or other drinks that need to stay cool. Because of the insulated bottom the depth of the bag doesn't go very far but it's perfect for taking lunch with us to the park! And the best part (besides the embroidered name) is the yellow Stampin' Up! rubber that is typical for Stampin Up bags to have on the front!

And she included a card for me that she made on My Digital Studio!

I love the panel she put inside for writing notes. I never thought of that!

And what a neat idea to put on the back of your cards so people know that you made the card yourself and didn't just go buy it at the store! I always thought that the MDS cards wouldn't be as well received as the handcrafted non-digital versions, but with a card like this - who wouldn't love it!

Stampin Up is truly a family. We all share with each other ideas and experiences and help each other out in various ways. I'm so glad to be a part of such a great company that encourages those types of relationships among each other! If you get a chance check out Patty Bennett's blog - Patty's Stamping Spot. She is very talented and may inspire you to create a card, scrapbook page, or gift for someone else! I know her work inspires me!
