Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge (TSSC249)

Welcome back to the Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge! Here is this week's Sketch:

When I first saw this sketch I was thinking of using A Fitting Occasion. It's a stamp set I purchased on sale a couple of months ago (that I haven't used yet...shhhhh!). Then I remembered that I had a monthly card swap due and the theme was to use something from the Spring Catalog with either a Valentine or girl/boy child's birthday card. So I decided to use the Cross My Heart stamp set and I really wanted to use the "new" Soda Pop Tops so the rest is inked history!

Look at all these cute stamps! I'm not one for "fussy cutting" but I can handle cutting the crosswords from this stamp if needed! I also love using Daffodil Delight but find it a hard color to use. I want it to "pop" but not overwhelm the card - what do you think?

Check out the work from our talented designers and don't forget to play along with us and add your card using the linky tool.

  1. Oh my Goodness!!! I just LOVE your card!!!

  2. So so sweet, I love those darling bottle caps! The colors are what really make me happy about this card though. I love fun color combos like this. Great job on the sketch--thanks so much for the awesome sample.

  3. Love this card! I'm a huge crossword puzzle fan and the bottle caps are very cool. Can't wait to try mine.
