Happy Monday and Happy 1st Day of July! (Can you believe we are half-way through 2013???) Welcome to another week of the Technostamper Sketch Challenge. Check out this week's sketch TSSC270:
Here is this week's card:
I couldn't help but use the Chalk Talk set again this week - I love it! I love the bright bold colors of the Quatrefancy Specialty DSP.
I love letting my DSP determine my color palette! I had so many choices but went this color combination:
Here is what I did:
- The base is made from 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" Pool Party card stock - scored in half at 4-1/4"
- The next layer is 4-3/4" x 3-1/2" Quatrefancy DSP with a 5" x 3-3/4" mat of Island Indigo card stock.
- The next layer is made from 4" x 1-3/4" Strawberry Slush card stock and 3-1/4" x 1" Whisper White card stock. I made my flag points before I stamped my greeting in Strawberry Slush Classic Ink.
- I added a layer of 3/8" Strawberry Slush Ruffle Stretch Trim (and it really stretches!) between my 2 flags and mounted the flag with the stamped greeting with Dimensionals.
- For the final touch I added 3 pearls in 2 different sizes! Have a final look:
