TSSC285 - Snowflake Soiree

Happy Monday!!! It's time for a fabulous sketch challenge with the Technostamper! Check out this week's sketch (TSSC285):

Here is the card I made with this sketch:

This card came together very quickly! I knew when I saw this sketch that I wanted to use the torn-edge technique - where you tear a piece of paper and use the torn edge as a mat. This card only has 2 layers which is perfect for mailing!

I sponged the "stripe" with Soft Sky which seemed to come out looking a lot like a cross of Pool Party and Baja Breeze but pairs wonderfully with Midnight Muse. I originally stamped the snowflakes with Silver Embossing Powder but really liked the contrast that Midnight Muse provided. I added some pearls to the center of the snowflakes and stamped a greeting from Greetings of the Season - which is not found in the Holiday Catalog but IS still available!
