Happy Monday! It's time for another Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge! Here is my sample for this week:

Another great sketch this week! I was inspired to do lots and lots of projects with this sketch but decided to continue on with my goal to use all my stamp sets at least once. Can you believe that some stamp sets just go on my shelf and are never used???? My list of unused sets is getting smaller and smaller - yay!
Are you loving Hello Honey as much as I am? I chose that color for my card base. I used a pattern of paper from the Moonlight DSP stack and matted it with Basic Gray.
I created a line of "ruffled ribbon" with Daffodil Delight seam binding ribbon.There are 2 ways to (that I know of) to create the ruffled ribbon look:
- Pull some threads from each end of the ribbon - much like gathering fabric
- (lazy way) Adhere sticky strip where you want the ribbon and then "twist" it back and forth along the line of sticky strip
I chose the lazy way! I stamped the coffee cup with Basic Gray and then stamped another coffee cup on my Moonlight DSP and cut out the cuff of the coffee cup and glued it on top of the cup. I stamped the sentiment in Lost Lagoon hoping that it would stand out from the grid lines. I didn't realize the greeting was so "messy" so when I first stamped it I thought I rocked my stamp and messed up! Then I looked at the image of my stamp set and realized that it was supposed to be "messy"!
I even cut a strip of paper to coordinate in the inside of the card with a matted layer of Lost Lagoon and Whisper White card stock.

Yes, I do believe you have sets you don't use--of course I do NOT (little white lie there) This is one of those sets that I loved and really wanted and hardly ever use. Really cute card, and great idea to be sure they all get inked! Thanks so much for being a part of the TSSC team!
